1. Introduction

PromoAI ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by loonshotstudio. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service at promoai.loonshotstudio.com and the PromoAI mobile app.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: Username, email address, and password (hashed) when you create an account.
  • Shop Information: Optionally provided shop name, contact details, address, etc.
  • Uploaded Images: Images you upload for AI analysis. These are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers.
  • Generated Content: Promotional text generated by the AI, stored locally in your browser.
  • Payment Information: For paid plan purchases, we receive a transaction ID, payment amount, payment status, payment date, and purchased plan from our payment processor (Erumpay). We do not store card numbers or other payment credentials — these are handled by the payment processor.
  • Usage Data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage statistics such as page views and feature usage.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the PromoAI service
  • To analyze uploaded images and generate promotional content using third-party AI services
  • To send email verification codes during registration and email changes
  • To process paid plan payments and send payment confirmation emails
  • To improve our service through anonymized usage analytics
  • To authenticate your account and maintain your session

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • OpenAI API: For image analysis and image generation. Please refer to OpenAI's Privacy Policy for details.
  • Google Gemini API: For text generation and image generation. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.
  • Anthropic Claude API: For text generation. Please refer to Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details.
  • Resend: For sending email verification codes during registration/email changes and payment confirmation emails. Please refer to Resend's Privacy Policy for details.
  • Erumpay (payment processor): For processing paid plan payments. Payment credentials are handled by Erumpay; we only receive payment result information such as the transaction ID, amount, and status.
  • Google Analytics: For anonymized usage statistics. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.

5. Data Storage and Security

  • Passwords are hashed before storage.
  • Authentication uses HTTP-only cookies with JWT tokens.
  • Generated promotional content is stored in your browser's local storage.
  • Uploaded images are processed in memory and not permanently stored on our servers.
  • Email verification codes are temporarily stored and deleted upon verification or expiration.

6. Data Retention

We delete personal data without delay once its purpose is fulfilled or upon account deletion. However, the following records are retained for the periods required by applicable law (the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Korea):

  • Records on contracts or withdrawal of subscription: 5 years
  • Records on payment and supply of goods/services: 5 years
  • Records on consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years
  • Records on labeling/advertising: 6 months

Accordingly, upon account deletion your account information is removed, but payment and transaction records are retained separately for the statutory periods above before being destroyed.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and modify your personal data (change username, email, and shop info from your profile page)
  • Delete your account directly from your profile page (account information is removed immediately; payment/transaction records subject to statutory retention are kept per Section 6)
  • Clear locally stored content at any time through your browser settings
